FREE rose tree

Tree Rose sale - buy 1 get 1 FREE of equal or lessor value. Our mistake is your gain. We bought too many tree roses so we are putting them on sale now through February. Not every rose is available as a tree but we have many varieties to choose from.

This offer is valid on in store purchases only, sorry we are not able to ship rose trees.

Bareroot Time

The nursery is coming back together after the holidays. Our west side is full of sticks in pots. What are these? Many selections of dormant roses and fruit trees. Now is the time to put them into your garden. Shop this month for the best selections, we have already sold out of some new varieties. Do you like rhubarb pie? Why not plant your own, we have beautiful ones in the nursery now and from what my customers have told me, very easy to grow. How about berries, we have strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Grapes, wine grapes and table grapes are available this month.
Together with E.B. Stone we are offering a rose insurance this year. For only $13.98 we will insure your new purchase of 2 roses for 1 year. This program is being offered on in store purchases only, see the nursery for details.

Thank you for continuing to garden with us, we appreciate it!

Nature's Fertilizer

Think about it for a few minutes, nature if we don't mess with it pretty much takes care of itself.
Rain falls, plants grow, animals eat, animals leave their waste which breaks down to become fertilizer. And a small bug called a dung beetle moves this fertilizer around. You've possibly seen a National Geographic program, we saw it live in South Africa.

South Africa

Wow what an adventure Fausto & I had over the holidays. We went to South Africa where we fell in love with the flora and fauna. We thought we were spoiled here with our weather and Wild Animal Park, but seeing plants and animals unspoiled is truly beautiful.

When on a safari your goal is to see the Big 5, elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard. I have to see we saw them all even the elusive leopard and they are beautiful in their own way.
