Growing Greens Fast

Growing your own salad greens trumps buying grocery lettuce any day. Not only is it easy but it allows you to experiment with new flavors. In just 10 days, "micro greens" have their first set of leaves and are ready to snip. Judy Seaborn of Botanical Interests seed company developed a harvest technique that produces a young crop that is pretty, good-tasting when small, and has similar germination rates. Spicy Mix contains cress, mustard, radish, and red cabbage. Mild Mix is made up of kohrabi, pak choy, red beets, red cabbage and Swiss chard. (the pictures are reversed on our website)
