Salvia Mexicana Limelight

My favorite color is beginning to burst on a Mexican Salvia called 'Limelight'. This plant can have spikes up to 6' tall with the plant's width around 2-3'. Full sun to bright shade, regular water. I love the chartreuse spikes with violet-blue tips.

Just received in stock for this weekend. You can have one in your garden for just $4.99, a real bargain when I did some research on the internet and found it on other sites for almost twice as much.

This is a beautiful plant. I grew it a couple of years ago but could not remember what it was. I remembered it as a sage-like plant with soft, lime-green blooms. No one had any idea what I was taking about. I finally found the old tag and realized the lime-green blooms were actually the lime-green calyxes of Salvia mexicana 'Limelight.' I certainly recommend it for a robust, long-blooming plant, though not one that will survive an Indiana winter. ~J.Everitt
